The ProMic Laser DSLR On-Camera Shotgun Microphone by sE Electronics is for capturing audio in various environments for audio applications such as weddings, photo shoots, sports events, and much more. It features a super cardioid polar pattern, has a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz, and has a rugged aluminum design, removable wind shield, and a custom shock mount for hot-shoe mounting directly onto a DSLR camera. This microphone is battery-powered using a single AAA battery (not included) and has a -10 dB pad to allow you to reduce the level of the mic for recording louder sources. In addition, the ProMic Laser is built with a bass cut to help in the removing of unwanted low frequency rumble, such as traffic, or noise from the camera itself. The ProMic Laser is a good choice for capturing professional-quality audio direct to a camera. A windshield, shock-mount, 1/8" mini jack, and carry bag are included.
